Unique Approach...Quality Life...Just a Call Away
If you or a loved one is experiencing substance abuse and behavioral health issues, Center for Network Therapy (CNT) offers a high quality, one-stop solution. CNT uses an exciting, leading edge therapeutic + pharmological model with the goal of meaningfully advancing and enhancing the recovery process for individuals and families affected by substance abuse and mental health issues. The program is based on group and individual therapy aided by psychotropic and addiction medication management (Suboxone, Vivitrol, etc.) CNT is led by a board certified Addiction (ASAM) and General Psychiatrist. We are in network with Aetna, Cigna, Horizon BCBS (Magellan) and United Health.
CNT is a pioneer in employing Network Therapy (within the 12-step framework) in which, in addition to the immediate family, our therapists teach skills to other caring individuals the client turns to at a time of crisis/craving, such as friends, neighbors or colleagues.
The core belief is that strengthening the clients' network contributes significantly to recovery. For clients with substance abuse issues the goal is the prompt achievement of abstinence with relapse prevention and the drug-free adaption to daily life.
Our therapists use an eclectic approach in which they dynamically adjust between several therapeutic models to suit client/group needs. Our staff is highly experienced in addressing the needs of the GLBTQ community.
CNT strongly favors leading edge, evidence-based models -- Matrix Model, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) supported by medication (Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol. etc.)
