CNT is a dual diagnosis (substance abuse + psychiatric illness) facility licensed by the state of New Jersey to provide IOP and outpatient services (Level I & II.) We are in network with Aetna, Cigna and Horizon BCBS and United Health. CNT’s goal is to deliver the best possible outcome for the client by working closely with the existing treatment team and involving people who care about the client. CNT is located in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art building with over 2000 sq. ft. of space.
Our staff is comprised of professionals who are experienced in chemical dependency and behavioral health and have worked extensively in various settings (incl. the GLBTQ population) with individuals experiencing substance abuse and other behavioral health problems. The staff is adept at meaningfully increasing the level of support the client receives from caring individuals (family, friends, neighbors, etc.) by helping them to understand the disease model and impact of medication and teaching them coping skills.
CNT is led by Indra Cidambi, M.D., who has been practicing General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine for many years and has helped numerous clients return to their productive lives. She completed her Psychiatry residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and her Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry from NYU/Bellevue. She is board certified in both, General and Addiction Psychiatry (ASAM).
Besides hands on therapy, CNT plans to provide clients access to a library of resources at the facility that the client can use at his/her own convenience to improve understanding of risk factors, triggers, etc., which should contribute to relapse prevention efforts.
As a way of giving back to society, CNT plans to hold free weekend seminars that focus on prevention, smoking cessation, psycho education, family education, etc. CNT believes substance abuse prevention efforts will benefit society the most over the long-term through lowered overall health care costs and higher quality of life.
